returns
Our pieces are handmade in Nepal, so returns work a little differently. Here is what to do if your order arrives damaged or not as described, and how refunds are issued.

Our thangkas, singing bowls, statues, and jewellery are handcrafted by artisans, so small variations in colour, texture, and finish are natural and part of each piece's character. They are not defects.
Please review product photos, dimensions, and descriptions carefully before ordering, and contact us with any questions before you buy.
If your order arrives damaged, defective, or significantly different from its description, contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the item and its packaging.
Once we review your request, we will offer a repair, replacement, or refund depending on the situation and item availability.
Approved returns must be sent back unused, in their original condition, and in secure packaging. Please do not send an item back before contacting us. Returns without prior approval may not be accepted.
We will provide return instructions, including the return address in Kathmandu, Nepal, when your return is approved.
Approved refunds are issued in USD to the original payment method through Stripe, our payment processor. We do not issue refunds to a different card, account, or currency.
After a refund is issued, your bank or card provider typically takes several business days to post the amount to your account.
If a return is due to our error, such as a damaged, defective, or incorrect item, we will cover or reimburse reasonable return shipping costs.
For other approved returns, return shipping costs and any customs charges on the return journey are the buyer's responsibility. We recommend using a tracked service, as we cannot refund items lost in return transit.
Custom and commissioned pieces made to your specifications cannot be returned or refunded unless they arrive damaged or differ significantly from the agreed commission.
Items damaged through misuse, alteration, or improper care after delivery are also not eligible for return or refund.
